I adapted this recipe from Little Spoon Farms
We are a huge fan of this recipe! My kids love brownies and I love that I found a healthier version and know exactly what is going into my kids bellies!! If you like a sweet treat check this out!!!

Recipe
Ingredients:
- 8 tbsp butter
- 12 oz chocolate chips (I substituted with dairy free)
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 2 tsp of vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sourdough discard
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line the pan with parchment paper
- Melt butter over low hear. Add chocolate chips, vanilla extract, and cocoa powder. Stir ingredients til melted to gather. Remove saucepan from heat and let cool.
- In large bowl mix eggs, brown sugar, and sugar with an electric mixer for 7-8 minutes. Add sourdough starter and chocolate mixture. Add flour and stir til just combined. ( batter will be thick)
- Pour batter and smooth top. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
- Allow to cool completely then use parchment to remove from the pan.
