Today I decided with all the sickness going on e should eat some yummy chicken soup to help our immune system out! I literally just threw this meal together but it was so good!!
Ingredients:
3 tbsp butter
1 celery stalk
1 medium onion
1 lb baby carrots or long carrots or shredded carrots
2 spoons of jarlic (jarred garlic)
1-2 packs of chicken tenderloin or breasts
1 bag frozen peas
1 box of desired noodles
2 quarts chicken stock or bullion or broth
Directions:
warm up your Dutch oven and melt the butter. Drop in your veggies except your peas to cook them. Once the onion is translucent looking add in the garlic and chicken broth. Put your raw chicken and let it cook for up to an hour. Stir every once in a while Once it’s cooked, shred your chicken or cube it and throw it back into your pot. Add in your peas and noodles and cook until desired tenderness of noodles. Serve and add pepper and salt to taste.
